Alix Kelsey

Alix Kelsey (she/her) is passionate about teaching with a trauma-informed lens and believes yoga is for every one & every body. Alix began her yoga journey when she was 15 years old. What started as a way to stretch and recover on off-days from playing soccer, turned into so much more. She found yoga was a way to honor & love her body, compassionately connect with her mind, and find solace in a busy life. Over the last 15+ years Alix explored a variety of yoga styles and fell in love with vinyasa yoga, meditation, and pranayama. Her hope is to guide others to develop their own unique loving relationship with body, mind, & soul. She does this with compassionate and mindful yoga classes that incorporate meditation, pranayama (breath), and moving the body through postures that align with a sankalpa (intention).  Alix holds a 250 Hour Yoga Alliance trauma-informed & Ayurvedic-inspired certification, from master teacher Avani Gilbert.

Ease into your Saturday night, slowing down as the sun sets. Nourish your body with a slow paced vinyasa flow. Move with intention and explore sensation by holding poses longer and breathing deeper. Melt with a guided meditation and long savasana. Leave with a renewed sense of peace and presence, ready to embrace the evening and week ahead.
