Ashley Maher-Korn Ashley has been immersed in movement her whole life. She grew up in small town Pennsylvania enjoying a life of dance. She moved to NYC at 16 to dance full time at the School of American Ballet. At 18, she started her professional ballet career with Miami City Ballet. Her career as a dancer continued with Pa Ballet and Los Angeles ballet where she performed at such theaters as the Kennedy Center, The Met and State theater.
As a ballet dancer, pilates is a part of your daily life for both training and rehabilitation. In 2005, she began her pilates journey by studying the STOTT method in NYC. Since then she has taught everything from large scale Los Angeles studios, to penthouse privates, professional footballers to the elderly with Parkinson’s. She loves to help, in anyway she can, to enable her students to connect deeper into their awareness and find strength and freedom in their bodies and minds.
