This four part workshop series is an offering to families interested in gathering new tools and perspectives on building a culture of belonging at home and in their community.

Content will touch on various stages of the development of the parent/caregiver and child partnership (centered around the participants who are present).

Through dialougue, council, and experiential activities, we will focus on:

  • Increasing empathy & respect in family dynamics

  • Promoting adaptability in ever-shifting circumstances

  • Gathering prompts, practices and confidence in order to deepen relationship to nature

  • Creating alliances and building social resilience

  • Strengthening skills to better navigate transitions

You are invited to attend all four successive workshops or drop-in as you are able.

Tessa is in pursuit of an MA from Antioch University, and has earned a Certificate in Ecopsychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a BA in Psychology and Education from UCSB. She has over ten years of experience working with children, teens, and families through local organizations committed to self-awareness and nature connection.

Tessa is a mother, a guardian, a lifelong student, and the founder of Kindling Connection. Her playful approach and adaptable tools invite practices of inquiry, expression, and balance in an ever-shifting world.

Jess Sieber Grasso, is a facilitator, consultant, guide, educator, agent of social change and staunch lover of nature. Jess has worked with purpose-driven individuals and values-based organizations for the past two decades.
